I'm worried this is going to make WRC boring.
Interestingly that's what everyone, including me, thought about Schumacher and F1 when he was on the top and pretty much untouchable..but I feel now that the interest levels in F1 dropped dramatically after his exit and have failed to come back, in tune with his not so successful return.
..Sometimes the sport rides on icons like Schumi and Seb, for example I watch every WRC just to see his sheer speed and grace, and get impressed by the fact that OMG he did it again..and again..and again!! A single stage in which he doesn't have the fastest time makes the rally interesting..just to see how he'll come back..a rally lost by him makes one wonder how he's going to charge back in the next one..and so on.
So maybe his incessant wins actually keep the sport alive and interesting..

Completely agree with you here Manoj. The way he is able to push without breaking sweat is out of this world. Seems like he does not even use all his reserves to win really and when he does, it just is a spectacle indeed. Case in point being New zealand where he was making huge time on every stage after his first day mistake and would have almost certainly taken the rally win had it not been for the spin on last day.
Its a weird thing, but when you see greats like Colin & Carlos drive, it looks like things can happen any moment and it needs superhuman skills to pilot the car around the stages. When Loeb drives, he is as straight as an arrow everywhere with no drama whatsoever. Incredible. No wonder they call him "The machine" in WRC.
Senna, Loeb and Rossi are rare gems!
