I dont think GG can change the position overall. in 60km difficult to make 1.26min unless some body has problem. May be go for leg points and stick to 3rd so atleast salvage points for championship.

my thoughts.

GG is 2nd after 2nd day first loop - Alistair McRae out on SS11 due to mechanical problems - everyone moves up one place.
All aside Gaurav's timings on both days tell the real story. Awesome going!

Congrats Gaurav & Glenn.

Gaurav's driving was treat to eyes. I met him at the start of the 2nd stage & he was complaining of Brake problems and the next service was after 4th stage. We were disappointed to hear his words but got charged up when we saw him doing fastest stage timings in the next 4 stages. To add to his brake problems, it started to rain during the 6th stage and roads became very slippery. Without fully functioning brakes, he overshoot in one of the left handers and lost quite a bit of time. If not for that we were pretty confident of seeing him winning the event & hearing Indian national anthem over here in Johor.

Lohit & Nikhil had electrical problems on Day 1 and they rejoined under super rally format but on the 2nd stage of Day 2, their engine blew up.

Sanjay & Moosa finished 3rd in their category.

Few pictures from the Podium finish ceremony and will post action photos after an day or two.
