Great news for Indian Rallying

Another competitor in the APRC for New Zealand. As all of us know the talent of Vivek Ponnusamy who hails from Erode, Tamilnadu will be competing in the NZ round of the APRC for Team Subaru co-driving for a very experienced Japanese driver. As per the details the driver has won Class T1 in Dakar Rally and competed in many WRC and APRC events. This is a great step for Vivek to be in the world scene and there are discussions under way regarding his participation in few rounds of 2007 WRC events as well. May be the first Indian to compete in WRC, I suppose.


I think his commitment and confidence has paid him back in a BIG way. Good on you Vivek and go for it buddy! Good luck!!!
