Guys , just about 10 days left to go for the Portugal round of the WRC .... and having seen glimpses of the pace to be up there in Cyprus , what should we expect in Portugal ???

And can someone get the Mad Gill to check this thread out a few hrs before he starts off ;-) ..... Im personally DEMANDING for a Top 5 finish given the fact that none of the other big names drop out ( if they do then even a Top 3 ;-) ) !! Lets just hope the car holds up for the entire 3 days ....

Anyone else with DEMANDS around here .... ????

Cheers

PS - can someone else post links to the Rally web site and stuff ... simply too lazy to do that !!

LOOK AT THE ENTRY LIST. The Fiat S2000's are in play as well as the Evo X's of the Pirelli Star Drivers - Looks like a long long list...

Yes it is a long list compared to Cyprus where there were only 32 cars running. the total entries stand at 75 with about 25 in p-wrc.. and yea that includes 5 spanking new Evo 10s of the Pirelli star driver team. I think this is the first rally for the Evo 10s.. will be interesting to see how they perform..
It will be tougher compared to cyprus with more entries as well as a longer rally. but I think Gaurav definitely has the pace to make it into the points and hopefully even better.. so hope for the best.

I agree with khaadu, We demand a top 5 finish.... I am sure Gaurav has the potential to do so and I am looking forward to see the Evo X's in action.
