Hello fellow rally nuts. My name is Sachin.I am originally from Banagalore (Bazzar/Basavanagudi) I started rallying in 1993. I have done many national events including K1000, Coffee 500, Kadur Safari, South India challenge, Popular, Nasa and hundreds of TSD's. All on 2 wheelers. I have been living in the US for the last 10 years. I follow rallying very closely here. Not much rallying compared to India. I drive a Subaru Impreza WRX and ride a Yamaha R6. Any bazzar boys hanging out here?

My profile's not that heavy. Growing up in Bangalore during the 90's (which I think was the golden age of rallying) there were plenty of people who did every rally event out there. And there used to be a rally (at least 2 wheeler) literally every week end So you rack up plenty of them. I am glad I discovered this forum so I can keep in touch with the events back home.

Sachin, I am from north of Bangalore. Ganganagar to be specific!

I was once shooed off after I took my dad's bullet (somewhere in 93 or 94, was 16 or 17 years old then!) into the track trailing another rally biker, this rally had started from Watts garage in Ganganagar.

After that I used to watch & drool to get into rallying, but only took the plunge recently in june.

LOL. Havent we all been chased off from some SS or the other. I started in 1993 @17yrs navigating in KMSC championship and K1000 plus some rally's in Vijaynagar. Started riding in '96.
I am from Basavanagudi.

Navigated for a bunch of guys. Noteworthy guys you might have heard of would be Anand from Bazzar, Pramodh (Charlie) and Ravi Choudry from 7th block. Then did odd one off events with many others. Hung out with a lot of old timers from Bangalore South both in 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers. My Dad and Uncle were old time rally pros.
