It all happened in Coffee Day few months back that we have an RD meet in Bangalore. We took the minutes chat seriously and the work started in organising the meet..

As I was busy, I was not able to help the people behind the scene... All I wanted was to see all the RDs roar together and take mine with the group..

Karthik(Bangalore RD Club), Santosh(Bangalore RD Club) and Sharath(BN) worked very hard in bringing the mean-machines together...

I started polishing the bike months back...

It was June the 20th 2010, a cool sunday morning... left home with all the pride...

When I reached Kanteerava Stadium, I was shocked as there were more than 50 RDs... I was expecting around 40 RDs max...

Spent some time checking all the RDs and there were 150 registered RDs in the venue before I spent time with few owners...

We had good amount of BNers there and the time just flew as we talked to each other...

Once we had breakfast, we started to a farmhouse in Harohalli; a village about 45 kms from Bangalore...

My bike was cruising happily at 120 kmph and the roar was playing music in my ears...

Reached the place... had lunch along with the bikers...

The youngest, the oldest and all kinds of owners shared thoughts on RDs and we exchanged ideas on maintenance...

Spent some time and rode towards Bangalore registering a great day in my life

Murali... The person who had clocked the fastest time(13 seconds) in a quarter mile drag in the year 1988/89. Cheers mate!!


The current record in Deccan quarter mile drag is 12.44 seconds.
