A good news for the whole motorsport and especially rallying. there's a woman entry in this year's sjoba in bikes category. the lady or should be saying girl is from chandigarh and riding a glamour 125 in group d. she has already done the recce and is fully prepared for the event. i found it amazing that a young girl from an indian city( which is not very big) is coming up and riding an event. i thought klaudia honeder was the only woman who could be presented as an ambassador for promoting rallies in the country and especially attract women but i think this is just awesome. this will not only encourage other women but will also help the rally to be more famous and who knows may be she gets a sponsor for her next event. i know, i am thinking too far but never rule out possibilities. i just hope that this doesn't become a one time thing and brings a change in the whole way two wheeler rallying is seen in the country.

we had two girls one from chennai (chitra) riding a yamaha ybx and priyamvadha fromn bangalore riding her own apache rtr. and sheeja driving a skoda in the 4w category guys. and all of them were given the same trophies like the winners got and were thrilled,also have confirmed their entries for further events.

Nice to hear this. They must be really motivated to do something like this. Now the boys need to ride harder

just got to know that the girl who was riding in sjoba had a crash and broke her wrist. the news is not confirmed by anyone but a rider told me that this happened.
