What an ironic year, the seemingly once impossible 'F1 race in India' has taken place, while rallying seems to be going down the tube consecutively... lack of entries, teams, sponsors and overall interest. It's a darn shame.. is there a way out of this hole we're digging ourselves into..??

I would say it is actually due to poor organizing, multiple cancellation of events, very poor media, high entry fees and above all, ridiculous categories that have lead to the decline of participation. For instance, an event as brilliant as the Kerala Rally 2010 did not happen in 2011. If good events are not repeated and other rubbish events keep happening year after year, this is the end result.

Seems like the entire championship needs to be put back on the drawing board, just hoping that the powers-that-be know this, and the urgency of it, as well as everyone else does :!:
