MOTOR SPORTS CLUB of KARNATAKA will be organizing the QUARTER MAN a drag race for two and four wheeler in the last week of november.

we will be running the bikes on the 26th of NOVEMBER 2011 and the cars on the 27 of NOVEMBER 2011.
EVENT STARTS @ 7.30 AM on both the days and we are having the stock bikes category this time for which post event scrutiny for all the bikes is mandatory.

i was told tht the drag race happening this sunday has been cancelled. THis was an update i received from my garage HMW. Is this real..??

i wanted to know if the drag tht is being reorganized to be held on the 12th and 13th will surely be happening. Please reveal the venue this time.

2. Class M-2 above 130 cc up to 165 cc
3. Class M-3 above 165 cc up to 260 cc

For 4 strokes:
6. Class MF-1 – upto 130 cc
7. Class MF-2 – above 130, upto 165 cc
8. Class MF-3 – above 165cc, upto 210 cc
9. Class MF-4 – above 210 cc, upto 260 cc
10. Bullet Class 350 cc and above
11. SCOOTER CLASS
A vehicle may enter only one of the following categories and the Foreign Open
Classifications for Foreign Bikes (Group A)

14. 1000 CC AND ABOVE
15. Indian Bikes Open
16. Open class. This class is open to all, Indian bikes with foreign engines, foreign bikes

A vehicle may enter only one of the following categories and the Indian Open category. Only 2 drivers per car are allowed. Either nitrous OR supercharging / turbo charging of cars allowed, not both.
a) Indian Cars from 1101 to 1400 cc
b) Indian Cars from 1401 to 1600 cc
c) Indian Cars from 1601 to 2000 cc
d) Indian Cars from 2001 to 3000 cc
e) Indian Cars above 3001 cc
5. Indian Cars with FOREIGN ENGINE
6. Indian Open
•Production Indian car body with Indian engines (head, block & gearbox casing), Non
Production vehicles with Indian Engine, Single seater & Dragsters provided the
drivers have to use racing suits and gloves. 2 drivers per car are allowed.
9.2 Classifications for Foreign cars
A vehicle may enter only one of the following categories and the unrestricted category. No car with an Indian Engine will be allowed to take part in the Foreign Cars Category.
1. Foreign Cars: (Pro - Stock)
a) Foreign Cars up to 3000 cc
b) Foreign Cars from 3001-4000 cc
c) Foreign Cars from 4001 cc and above
2. Unrestricted Class.
This class is open to all Indian cars with foreign engines, foreign cars and Specials, single seater and non-production vehicles.
9.3 Classification Diesel Cars Pro Stock- This class is open to all Diesel Engine cars.
1. Pro Stock Diesel
a) Indian Cars Up to 2300cc
b) Indian Cars above 2301 cc to 3000cc
c) Indian Cars above 3000cc
