Khaadu,
You're not imagining things, and I'm not that good with Photoshop... this was the scene after the tanker watered the track.

Yeah oversteer, after the tanker watered the track, participants were left to make a few rounds to help in faster spreading of water on the tracks. At this time almost all of them started to move around, it was fun & scary too! They were moving in good speeds too close to each other on a wet track [-X . At this point Srinivas halted this wild run & actually restarted the event!

I have been for this event. Some videos of this event is uploaded here in the below link! (few more videos & photos will be uploaded shortly)

was there to watch this event which was hyped beyond limits( read as all electronic and print media will be present),and such kind of a thing is totally unacceptable, that too from a person who has a FMSCI license to check the vehicles.
a silver baleno was seen shortcutting the track and driving very fast behin some cars, and the organisers were mere spectators. how could they ever ask them to run to spread the water.?

Atleast TV9 turned out while the state sports minister Mr.Goolihatti Shekhar was there. He in fact stayed for a while & flagged off a warm-up round for the 2W. Invitations would have had gone for other medias too, but the actual turn-about depends on their sole discretion right? :)

Actually they never asked all of them to jump on the tracks like that. Since it was getting dark & water was still stagnating at the corners & low grounds, they infact asked if anybody was interested to take a couple of rounds for practice. Then at this point this thing happened! I wouldn't blame the organizers though, as I saw a few participants too aggressive on this small track. :|
