Spectators and competitors have strewn beer bottles, beer tins, water bottles, plastic bags, oil cans, tyres helter skelter [-X

Its time we become responsible enough and not litter.
Nandi hills being a forest area and a plastic free zone now after the event carries a filthy look.

2 or 3 banners could have educated the crowd ????????

"KEEP NANDI HILLS CLEAN - CARRY BACK YOUR FILTH - DISPOSE IT AT THE RT PLACE"

Very true!! Even I noticed how people were careless (not innocence) in littering, otherwise the beautiful place.

I am (so far) convinced that these people (not just the crowd at nandi) are neither not going to care about it nor will learn to respect nature! :| People really aren't willing to even accept the toxicities of these products.

All the places that I have traveled so far, people lack it the common sense! I always refrain from plastic bags (unless it is inevitable or pre-wrapped) by carrying my own bag. I get pissed off whenever the people around me are plastic happy, I get really bad with them & try to correct them but end up being a unpopular person! I don't really care about it & continue my part of this social work!

One simple example, you go to nearby bakery, ask for bread, he slices it & inserts it into a polythene cover, then uses ONE MORE polythene bag to help u carry it [-X . Atleast here the second bag can be avoided, as the first one is kinda inevitable unless the bakery people are green-aware & use a paper/butterpaper bags.

Sorry for this long writeup, but couldn't stop myself! :?

Our natural heritage is something we should all be proud of and help to preserve.... ESPECIALLY when we are all aficionados of a sport that...errr... doesn't really have a small carbon footprint!

Carry your trash back with you, and dispose of it properly! It does NOT take so much effort.
