We're waiting for an official announcement on this. There is a possibility that it will happen on the 15th instead of 8th. Will know for sure in a day or two.

bangalore should happen. either way, we'll have clarity on the FMSCI-MAI stand-off. and whosoever is the ASN will have to, and i mean have to, run the event. it would be something like an assurance. "we're here and we can do the job".

didn't hear anything about the dates going back and forth though, so that i think is conjecture. the MAI had issued a clear calendar which indicated the dates as 15 to 17th aug. even if the MAI ain't around then, the FMSCI boys have already issued a statement saying they'll go with whatever calendars have been decided so far. and never, and i mean, never, has an event been brought forward, not in indian rallying at least

Harmaan - I agree with you. B'lore Rally MUST happen at any cost. Let me assure you that KMSC is determined that the rally runs no matter what.

But I disagree with you on the dates issue. All the official communication is available on this site about the dates going up and down at the start of the season.
