Hey MRN,

Mods to make your gyp rally spec: (others pls add on):

1)Suspension:Strengthened leaf springs and Double shocks (STOCK) - Tokiko shocks i Gather are best
2)Safety: Roll cage, Cut out of the engine, Harness, Seats and the car has to be converted into a 2 seater cabin shell.
3) Engine: Headers, free flow exhaust ie. shorty- sounds best;), Im not sure on whether your allowed to play with the engine, A K&N air filter i think is allowed---Go onto the FMSCI site and look up the regs.
4) Some body strengthening on body parts that are prone to wear and tear..such as where the shocks are mounted.
5) MRF/JK Dirt tyres

Frills:
Race Dynamics ECU
Tach

Some of my friends in Bangalore got taken for a real costly ride, so be aware, FRK is a good team.

Friends,

Which place in Bangalore would be best for making a roll-cage for a Gypsy? How much cost & time are we looking at?

I am not into rallying but a little bit of off-roading so a roll-cage would for sure help as an added safety measure.

I would like to get a professional job done and not a jugaad.

Cheers,
Shahnawaz

Hi Khan!

Jaggu tells me your Gypsy has got the works and can literally climb a wall :D

For the roll cage try FRK. Time 10 days. Cost maybe around 30k (not sure).

@sudhir: one stop shop is "Auto Attitudes"... Search Amanpreet Ahluwalia and ask him.
