page 4.. of this thread.... is joginder singh.... he was a legend and we were all looking forward to see him in action at the Himalayan in a 450 SLC... but for some reason he didnt come that year... any way that link you posted had some great pics so i chooried some here they are... and its of the Singh brothers in Kenya

This has got to be the most attractive woman to all men who drive Rally cars... i know a absoutely adored her... her looks her style her ability to drive a full blooded group "B" Rally car.... and match it in talent speed and car control.

I will forever be an admirer of this woman...

Judging by some comments on this thread.. im guessing many of you dont really know the signifance of the "Kenyan Safari rally".. in its hey day it was the "Mother of all rallies".
If you lost the WRC but you won the Safari... you would still Generate publicity and media coverage at even levels... guys who won her here were Tough.. and became instant Legends.. the likes of Jayant Patel...Jayant shah... Ramesh Khoda... are all from this heritage... hey! even the opel Manta that Rajeev Khanna brought to the Himalayan... is an ex safari car.. or be it a reccee or Practice car...

The New Extreme rally in south india should be considering to get this kind of Status... you have the terrain there... the hills.. the mud... the long sections... forrest sections... and wild life... yup it could be possible... but enjoy this clip .. and look out for the "flying Sikh" Joginder in the Volvo... and check out how Waldegard enters service... and ooohhh watch the Toyota tackel the mud and water... mind blowing stuff

did you take part in the north eastern rally?...it was in the mid eighties and started from dibrugarh to arunachal...i think it was sponsored by wills...my dad took part in that rally too and came second...he has met you i think and says you had a fiat or some thing which broke down...
